“I’ve been a student of the game of golf for over 40 years.”
I admit it – I am a golfaholic, as well as a teaching professional. I have enjoyed playing the grand game of golf for over 40 years. In addition to playing, I find teaching golf very rewarding – I love to see students when they finally hit that great shot, make the long put, chip in or kill that long drive.
I am a certified USGTF Level III Golf Instructor, have published and been a contributing writer for a monthly golf magazine, and currently am a contributing golf sports writer for The Toledo Free Press and The Toledo Examiner. Click here to read some of my articles. I hope you receive some ideas to improve your game.
I also write golf tips and lessons that help golfer’s of every ability. Click here to view my many golf tips. During my hands-on lessons, I specialize in quickly assessing a golfer’s weakness and helping them correct it in a way that creates an immediate improvement in their game.
One of the aspects of my profession that I really enjoy is covering the Toledo and Ohio area pro golf events as part of the Toledo Free Press. Here’s a photo I took of defending Champion, Bernhard Langer, holding his 2010 U. S. Senior Open trophy. This photo was taken when he visited Inverness in Toledo, Ohio in May 2011 to help promote the 2011 U. S. Senior Open.
My wife and I enjoy traveling and exploring the beautiful surroundings of well kept golf courses as well as introducing our grandchildren to the grand game (among other things)! We reside in Toledo, Ohio with a second home in Cadillac, Michigan where I offer lessons periodically at Hitters Golf Driving Range.
